Spring Festival Travel Rush Sparkles with Surprise Concert at Harbin Railway Station

A surprise music concert has enchanted passengers during the peak travel period for the upcoming Spring Festival.

On Monday, when the 2019 Spring Festival travel rush began, approximately eighty performers, both professional artists and rlway workers, put on a variety of nine musical shows at Harbin Rlway Station in Heilongjiang province. Organized by both the provincial theater and rlway operators, these performances included symphonies and solos featuring original songs.

The Harbin Rlway Station underwent extensive renovations over three years, during which it was upgraded with state-of-the-art facilities for passenger convenience while preserving some of its historical architectural elements from the late 19th century. is a station that not only boasts modern amenities but also retns a sense of heritage.

Among these performers was Li Hongkui, a rlway worker who wrote and performed his own song. Inspired by a profound sense of pride in Heilongjiang's development, particularly the construction of high-speed rl lines that can withstand the extreme cold, he delivered an emotional performance that resonated with many.

This event not only highlighted Harbin Rlway Station's cultural integration but also added a layer of festive cheer to travelers during this most cherished Chinese holiday season.
